Re: [Basic] Advantage of the Week (#36): Digital Mind
Except again, it lacks everything game mechanically about the advantage and as you keep saying is nearly useless except as a prerequisite for other traits. Should it really be more than five points?

Unkillable 3 Achilles Heel: damage to backup storage (-10% or more, depending on accessibility of backup storage) No Unkillable 1 (no canonical price, usual estimates are around -20%) Nuisance Effect: memory loss (anything since your last sync with backup; probably about -5%) Trigger: requires a new body (depends on rarity of new bodies; call it -15% by default) Real Cost: typically 75 |

If you can only be stored as data, but not restored, it's completely useless and worth 0. If you can be restored, it's Unkillable.

Re: [Basic] Advantage of the Week (#36): Digital Mind
Being stored and rebooted in the same shell isn't Unkillable 3. If it is Unkillable, it is a version of that trait that has none of the mechanics of it.

Re: [Basic] Advantage of the Week (#36): Digital Mind
Yes, it's instead totally useless; it doesn't actually do anything, since if your shell is in any condition to be rebooted, it hasn't taken fatal damage and thus you didn't need to be stored, and if your shell can be repaired past fatal damage it has Unkillable.

Also it is an obvious prerequisite for the rest of this stuff. |

Can only happen if the body has an ability that permits it to enter suspended animation.
Which just makes it an unusual background, and not worthy of distinguishing from other unusual backgrounds. |

No. The AI templates should have a comment indicating the GM may wish to assign an unusual background.
