Any Interest?
My son purchased an unopened Kickstarter ODE for me for Christmas 2015. While I do play it, I find that it the difficult to transport and takes up a fairly large footprint.
More than ODE, when I play OGRE/GEV, I still play the cardboard-and-paper edition I picked up off of eBay in 2009 (included Shockwave, Battlefields and the Reinforcement Pack). I have it in a small cigar-style box and it fits nicely in my backpack for vacations, business trips, etc. Would there be any interest in SJG in printing a cardboard-and-paper version with say 3/4" hexes (maybe 7/8") and 5/8" counters (maybe double sized for the Ogres)? I know I would purchase four sets; two for me and one for each of my sons. Thanks for listening, Mark Sockwell Joplin, MO |

Re: Any Interest?
At one time SJG looked into doing "Pocket GEV" to match "Pocket Ogre" -- but it would appear the sales weren't there, and the modern push is in ODE, 6E, and minis. I doubt making yet a third scale commercially would be feasible.
If you are crafty, you can get the "Classic Counters" as a FREE digital download, and do a PnP of your own in any size you wish: http://www.warehouse23.com/products/...sic-counters-1 |

Probably bigger than you want but try the giant GEV maps
http://www.warehouse23.com/products/...attlefield-set and the giant counters http://www.warehouse23.com/products/...assic-counters I too am an aficionado of the original maps and counters, and these large versions satisfy me immensely. |

But I can't second the nod to the classic counters enough. Those things are great! |

Re: Any Interest?
My large-size "travel set", as it were, is a set of the Classic Counters, and paper Ogre and GEV maps from the Deluxe Ogre and Deluxe GEV releases back in 2000. The counters are in Plano tackle boxes, and those and the maps fit nicely, along with PDF printouts of the ODE rulebook and scenario book, in a Really Useful Box.
