Not Lucky Finding Alternative Luck

I swear I read an alternative use of Luck that's similar to how Monster Hunters changes Serendipity and Destiny. Each level = 1 luck point used as bonus points or similar? I can't recall where it was! I parsed through MH, Action!, Impulse Buys...

Anyone else feeling lucky? Help a luckless guy out, eh?
