"miniatures that will interact with Infantry" why am I thinking GEV-PC for this? Although it could be HWT or some wonderful surprise...

Part of yesterday was spent reviewing the Set 2 CAD files.

OK...

So I've been laboring my brain about this issue.

Are people going to "swap out" individual figures from the bases every time they take a casualty or dismount/mount a GEV-PC? Seems like a PITA and also something which would damage/degrade the infantry figures over time.

or are people going to have premade permanent 1 & 2 & 3 figure stands (probably with the extra slots filled in and flocked over) that would function like counters?

You could do the old miniaturist trick of dropping a little plastic ring over dead infantry figures and just use the 3-stands. Probably the very easiest solution.

Obviously the second option requires having enough figs and bases to field a minimum of something like 10 full Inf stands, 6 "2's" and 6 "1's" (for the MkV scenario).

I'm not going to worry about it until I have the pieces in-hand, and then I'll see how I feel. If the tabs eventually break, no big deal, I can glue them down later.
