Another one a friend came up with (and that made me laugh out loud, which I presume is the purpose of wanting cheesy one-liners in the first place)...

"Is that a poisonous dart sticking out of your thigh, or are you just happy to see me?"

Well, in TL4, I wouldn't know about some of the poisons discovered later, correct? So if I say a pun relating to a poison discovered in, say, TL6, then I would have said something my character is not supposed to know. Or so I would think.

Yeah, it's nice to avoid anachronisms, otherwise you're just putting dioxin before the cart.
