Default Chronic Depression in Combat?

Hi

Chronic Depression is described as hindering a character to do ANYTHING but the most basic necessities of daily life, also that the character having the chronic depression would commit suicide if it wasn't "so much trouble".

What does this mean in a combat situation... since it's no trouble at all to just stand there, waiting to get shot or sliced and diced, how would a character with this disadvantage behave in combat?

Would he have to make a control role everytime (each round?) he commits to an action?

Cheers

Onkl

No. Defending yourself from being killed or severely injured would rate as a basic necessity.

Even though you "lost the will to live"? Which is the first sentence on B126...

Despite being depressed, you realise you must go on - this is, perhaps, what is most depressing. Make them roll to do more than is absolutely essential to survive.
Also
Cinematic game: attackers would ignore someone that depressed - they just don't seem worth the bother:)
Realistic-ish: who would you attack first? The berserker with the blade or the goth in the corner you mightn't even notice until you'd dealt with all the active threats?
