No, there isn't. A lot of that information isn't really in the data files (it's mixed into the item description, but not anywhere the program of Phoenix can actually access easily). It's something we'd like to add someday, but it needs to be back-entered into all the existing equipment first, then GCA needs to be modified to parse it properly. So it's a bit of a challenge.

I took the lazy route ;) GCA auto-named them, and I just left it.

Because the former are "special" column notes, which mean the same thing across all weapons, while the latter is an example of a specific weapon footnote.

Unfortunately, no. The only place the actual description of a weapon's footnotes exists in the data files is in the middle of the weapon's description, where sheets can't really get at them except by displaying said description.

There was talk at one point – starting here and then crossing over to the GCA beta list – about adding the weapon specific footnotes to the data files in a more accessible format, and adding new code to GCA to allow them to be used, but it sorta fell by the wayside. It was right at the start of the last development cycle, about two years ago.

Announcing a refresh of Phoenix r50 (requires GCA 4.0.408 or later). This is just a minor refresh of the sheet and included profiles. It's non-critical, so I haven't bumped the version. If you've already downloaded r50, you do not need this refresh, but it won't hurt you to get it.

Phoenix is always available from: http://www.motoslave.net/thom/gca/phoenix/

No reason we can't keep it on the list of things to consider as we move ahead to future releases.

Announcing a hotfix for Phoenix r50 (requires GCA 4.0.408 or later). This hotfix corrects a fatal bug related to the Languages block. If you've already downloaded r50 and do not use the Languages block, you do not need this hotfix, but it won't hurt you to get it, and everyone is encouraged to to download it regardless.

Phoenix is always available from: http://www.motoslave.net/thom/gca/phoenix/

Well, I've always been a fan of Melange's Flex Sheet, but since both his site and the mirror have been down for at least a year, I thought I'd give Phoenix a try now since it seems to be the sheet of choice for everyone... and... I like it! :)

Announcing Phoenix r51 (requires GCA 4.0.419 or later).

Phoenix is always available from: http://www.motoslave.net/thom/gca/phoenix/

------------------------------------------------------------------------

Phoenix r51 highlights:
  • Fixed a fatal bug in the Languages block that would be triggered if the last language trait was also the last advantage trait (in GCA).
  • Added a new, optional, Imbuements block.
  • Added a note to the SI/Metric "Game Metric" approximation option to make clear that it's not how you enable SI/Metric units in Phoenix.
  • Minor adjustment to the spacing of the columns in the Skills-type blocks so that less space is wasted.
  • Various options that grouped the Advantages & Perks blocks, the Disadvantages & Quirks blocks, and the Skills & Techniques blocks together have been updated to allow each block to be controlled separately.
  • Various tweaks and adjustments related to options.

So, one question - how do I access the options for Phoenix? I have them DL'ed into the "sheets" file, now I need to figure out how to import them so I can use them. Can anyone help?
