I wonder if the non-money side of the Wealth advantage should exist at all. It seems like it's a combo/proxy for other more precise Advantages (Status, Contacts, Luck).

Well, think of IQ. That's a combo/proxy for learnedness, memory, mechanical aptitude, emotional perceptiveness, perception, eyesight, hearing, willpower etc. Then you use optional advantages, disadvantages, talents etc. to tease out the components if you want to.

Perhaps Wealth ought to be similar.

…I'd say that part of IQ needs to be fixed, too.

In the case of those three at least, there is no other mechanic provided, unlike Contacts, Luck, and Status.

In the case of eyesight and hearing, I don't think IQ is a proxy, it's just that you're deploying whatever baseline sensing capabilities using a certain IQ.

Even so, to make Wealth similar would require some elaboration of how other advantages and disadvantages actually interact with the non-cash side of Wealth.
