DFA Scroll question
Pg 117 in DFA the line for "Cost (Charged):..." The last sentence reads Multiply this by the total casting cost plus maintenance cost the scroll supplies"
Does this sound like its missing a word or two? Thanks.

Re: DFA Scroll question
Many spells can be maintained. "Maintenance cost" is the cost to maintain the spell.
For example, ignoring discounts for high skill, Dark Vision costs 5 to cast, 2 to maintain. And it has a duration of 1 minute. So if you wanted to make a charged scroll that gives Dark Vision for up to 10 minutes at no FP cost to the user, it would need 5 FP for the first minute and 2 * 9 = 18 FP for the other 9 minutes, or 23 FP total. At $50/energy point, that's $1150 for a charged version that only mages and bards can use. At $100/energy point, it would be $2300 for a universal charged version that anyone can use. |

Re: DFA Scroll question
Comparing it to "Cost (Uncharged)" and seeing the different $ costs on the chart, it seems ok.
