I suppose, hypothetically, your bard could learn the "Silence" spell, and cast a safe zone for her allies.

The Bravery spell is easily accessible to clerics and bards, and makes the subject immune to fright checks for an hour.

Great point. And, as an area spell, you can probably squeeze the whole party into a single hex, making it dirt cheap. It also has the fun side-effect of making it more difficult to be cautious. Win-win!
