Default Cheat Card and -aser weapons question

Greetings gentlefolks. I have a quick question from last nights game play. An -aser weapon was in play with a cheat card attached to it to circumvent the hands restriction. If another -aser is attached to the cheated one to form a single weapon do they both ignore the hands requirement? If not how is this situation handled.

Thanks in advance. You guys are the best!

Cheat! can be used to remove a single Item's requirements. It cannot remove the requirements from all stacked -asers
