Default Munchkin Dice Bag

Does it give it's bonus rule in Munchkin Quest?

Since the card is not the same size as normal Quest cards, I'd say no.
But since it's Cthulhu, I'd say YES!

??? I know the cards that were in the bag only go with Munchkin. I'm wondering about using the bag, and thus, the rule that comes on it for Munchkin Quest.

Oh darn, I now realise you are not talking about the Cthulhu Dice Bag... I'm sorry.

Now a real answer: if it were up to me, I would allow the rule on the bag. After all, you use those Munchkin dice in Quest as well.

I'm thinking in my games that I would allow it as well, but I was wondering if the original intent was that it would.

I'm sorta a jerk about the dicebag in Munchkin as well and require that the dice only gets the bonus from the bag on the first roll after it is drawn from the bag. "When you take a..." to me implies that the bonus is only good from the time you take it out of the bag and roll it once. This is mostly only valid in Munchkin since putting all of the dice from Munchkin Quest in and pulling them out would only make the game take longer. In Munchkin Quest, I think it is a good bag to put all of the pawns, dice, and counters for players into.

That's how we play it. Everyone always removes one from the bag when we're rolling to see who goes first. My son and I once both rolled a Munchkin head, and on the roll-off I did again. I tried to claim a 7 and he nixed that. I should have taken another out of the bag when he wasn't looking.

Just wanted to point out that the official word is that you CAN put the dice back in the bag after each roll, allowing them to be pulled out and use the special rule again the next time. If I can find the post, I'll quote it here.

EDIT: Here's the quote:

One downside of using it with Munchkin Quest is that the "Looking for Trouble" dice I have do not have the Munchkin head on them. I think I will just not allow it in Munchkin Quest.

As I learned, there is only one printing of LFT so far and it came out before the Munchkin head d6 were a thing. I ordered two packs of the Rainbow d6 from W23. You can always house rule and pretend the head is there.

Good to know... Considered buying the rainbow dice anyway.
