Re: Questing the other games.
Never saw that intent at all. One aspect I can point out which could effect the possiblity of other games being converted into quest would be sells. No point in jumping into a new related project if the sells are not optimal enough. Which is why I try to get everyone I know who enjoys the card game to invest in this game. Some are at first put off at spending $50 on a board game, but then I point out the logic to them thatr its no different spending the same amount on a video game that has way less replay value when compared to MQ.
Anyway back on topic some things I could see as possible links in a munchkin booty version of MQ that would effect movement is nautical things that could effect ships. Things like Sargasso sea, coral reefs, uncharted waters, and the like. As for tiles they would probably be island based maybe a few ocean tiles. One example could be "shark infested waters" which either gives a bonus to shark creatures or maybe brings a shark creature or two into the combat. A possible trap could be along the lines of "shallow water" which of course could be turned into something commical with its description and picture relating to the word "shallow" where as you fail the roll and you lose a ship. |
