Default Good/bad rooms vs. D10 power

Since rooms that are good/bad for a race/class add/subtract a die to/from both combat and search rolls, I'm wondering whether this goes for the D10 power as well? Or isn't this considered a combat roll? Thanks!

We played it that it affects the D10 power as well. But if the PTB says otherwise, I will bow to their wisdom.

Applying the effect to the d10 as well would be kind of contrary to how the either dice work: In order for this to make sense, you'd have to roll with two dice and consider the minimum roll, whereas with the other dice, you add up the results.

The D10 power isn't a combat roll. Plus, there's only one D10 in the box, which is a pretty big hint if you ask me. ;-)

Since the rules make it directly clear what rolls are affected, I don't understand why this is a question. The rules say combat and search rolls are affected by the good/bad icons. Since the rules do not say anything about the d10 rolls in that case, the safest thing to assume and the easiest thing to infer is that they aren't affected by Class/Race icons. Plus, you want to roll your Level or lower with respect to the d10 rolls, so how would an extra die, in that case, be "good"?

It might give you a second try. Or deny the ability, in the case of a "bad" room.

Also, I was rather specifically thinking of the Warrior's ability, which grants a +5 combat bonus if successful. So in this case at least, it's a combat-related roll.

Since the rules don't say anything like that, then those cases don't exist. And, a combat-related roll is not a combat roll. Trust me, unless a cosmicly massive gaffe was made (which I strongly doubt), the fact that neither the Warrior d10 ability nor the rules say anything about accounting for the good/bad icons when doing a d10 roll is significant evidence that they aren't affected by the good/bad icons.

I'm more than willing to take your word for it; just thought I'd ask to clarify the remote possibility in case my fate hinges on it some time. No such luck, then. ;-)

I can understand a bit of the confusion, but the Dice box on page 4 spells it out pretty clearly that in general only D6s are messed with by rooms.
