What you suggest, quite reasonably, would show how your move was affected. Of course, once you end your turn, you'd have to flip it to green, if it was red. . .

  2. Play a second Big item.
  3. Remove one of your movement tokens (a red one, since that's all you have).
  4. Sell the Big item.
  5. Get a new move token (comes in "as if it were the beginning of the turn", ie, green).
  6. Use your green movement token to make another move.
  7. Repeat if possible.
Actually, this doesn't work.

pg. 6, "Changing Move in Mid-Turn"

If your Move changes in the middle of your turn, play as though you had started your turn with the new Move.
If your move is 3, and you use them all up, then play a Big Item to reduce your move to 2, then sell the Big Item to get a move of 3 again, it comes in as Red -- you "play as though you had started your turn with the new Move" because you did start your turn with that Move.

Yes, if the other players aren't paying attention, you can pull some shenanigans, but it's not a rules loophole.

Yes, you flip it as normal. So if you sell a Big item next turn, you'll get to use that point of Move.

It was intended to work exactly like the card game, so selling items from your hand is OK.

I guess we'll have to look at clarifying it in the reprint.
