Re: Munchkin Quest Mat for beginners
Oops, yeah, I should have actually checked the Hands Items you already had. I stand corrected . . . and embarrassed.

Re: Munchkin Quest Mat for beginners
Hi Munchkinman i was hoping you would drop by :)
Andrew Hackard has been aware of this developing thread, and suggested the US letter version sizes too, so i (possibly wrongly) assumed it would be fine classified as a game aid and so long as it features the copyright discalimer from the online policy. Is there a further official route/email for sending the designs for verfication before i "put it out there". Last thing i want is to ruffle the wrong feathers. :) |

Re: Munchkin Quest Mat for beginners
howdy folks
Just a quick update: On Munchkinmans recommendation I've sent the design for the mat to SJAgames to "check" its ok to distribute it. I personally cant see how it differs from any other game aid, and from carefully reading the SJgames online policy cant see any reason for a violation. Ill wait and see what reply I get. In the meantime we played using my own printouts of the mats the other night and they were great! Really clear and easy to see what everyone is carrying, and much easier to spot a sly cheat :) Remember, good things come to those who wait, fingers crossed :) |

I've still had not a squeek out of licensing at SJA games, and wondered if munchkin man had any suggestions on how else i might be able to have this "checked". Theres over 800 views on this thread now, so im imagining lots of people would be interested in having their very own mat? fingers crossed :) |

Re: Munchkin Quest Mat for beginners
Not to revive an old thread but what happened to the mat?
I was very excited about it.....

Re: Munchkin Quest Mat for beginners
Ayjayuk - have you been cleared to distribute these as an aid yet? Seems perfectly reasonable to me. I would love to get a set of four - just picked up the game and was going to do this myself... but would much rather get it made nicely from someone else. You spent some time on this - I hope you get a chance to sell a few.
Cheers - and let me know. |

Re: Munchkin Quest Mat for beginners
Checking game aids is lower priority than the jobs currently occupying about 115% of my and my staff's time. It'll have to keep waiting, I'm afraid.
And no, this mat cannot be sold. That would violate the Online Policy.
