Re: Library/laboratory room
I would rule it one of two ways:
Starting your turn in a room is considered the same as entering the room. or Whenever you entered the room prior, say it was even three turns ago, you may only buy potions and scrolls that were available then. As a corollary to this I would have a new discard pile started each time a player enters the room, and then mixed back with the original discard pile once they leave. More likely the second than the first, but I would rule the first if people didn't want to deal with the hassle of keeping up with it all. |

I would simply treat the start of his turn as "enterring the room" and leave it at that. So he could buy back potions he used last time, but not this time until next time.

Re: Library/laboratory room
I'll give you guys the background of that rule as part of the explanation.
In a playtest game, one player was almost able to wall the other players into the Library with the Summon Wall Scroll. We decided you shouldn't be able to buy a scroll that you had discarded this turn. So yes, you can consider starting your turn to be "entering the room". But, this is Munchkin, and the owner always has last say. If you want to go by the letter of the rules, Enter only has one definition.
