Default Munchkin Quest 2 Looking For Trouble Size

This is a very silly question. I haven't seen a copy Of Munchkin Quest 2 (FLGS is very poor in many areas) and so I'm going to have to buy it from the internets. I'm just wondering how big the Munchkin Quest 2 box is and if anyone had the foresight to make sure it fits within the original MQ box? If it does then thats really cool.

The MQ2 box is exactly half as wide as the MQ1 box, and the other two dimensions are unchanged. So, no, it will not fit inside the MQ1 box, and MQ1+MQ2 are just a little bit too much for the MQ2 box, but MQ1+MQ2 fit easily in the MQ1 box once the liner piece is removed.

A very, very heavy MQ2 box.

I felt there was a little too much sliding room, so I didn't remove the insert, just cut a portion of it off so that only one of the raised sections remained. I intend to use the MQ2 box, sans insert for carrying around some extra Munchkin goodies that don't go in my card cases, sammlerbox or gaming tool box. . . :-)

Thats a shame...
I was hoping that MQ2 would be about a third the width of MQ (and a bit shorther in all other dimensions) and thus fit neatly inside the box, perhaps beside the insert. Oh well... I guess I'll have to be diaspointed.

It would have been really clever if you could have done it though as so far this is my only upset with MQ

I'm not a big fan of the sliding, either, but I just put my OCD side to work on that. The result's not quite perfect, but it'll do. The cards, coaster, big beasties, and most of the gold are in a 330-count card box, the links are in a Ziploc bag, and the other small bits have been corralled in a small plastic tackle box. There's still some sliding, but not as much, and what there is should be harmless enough.

I figure that at some point I'll get something better to put the links in, like maybe a 200-count box, but this is fine for now.

I've managed to fit two copies each of MQ & MQ2 (including promo stuff) inside a single MQ box with liner removed. It has to be packed exactly right to get it all to fit, but it does. ... and yes, it's very heavy.

I have fit MQ/MQ2/MQ Extra Parts/+6 bag o' Munchkins/ and MQ promo items all in the MQ Box.

And yes, it is slightly heavy for a game. With pretty much no sliding room at all.

Which "Stowaway" is that? And where'd you get it? I was talking to a friend about me needing to get one (he's got something similar (smaller) for all the Arkham Horror flotsam has has.

Thanks in advance.

I got that one at a Menards, but you should be able to get them at Lowes, Home Depot or any hardware store. It fits perfectly in the bottom of the MQ 1 box. I believe it was roughly $5. I'll take some better pics of it tonight when I get home.

It is a Plano brand 18 compartment. I have it divided up so everything except links, cards, level counters, and room tiles are in it. Everything has it's own compartment, including a compartment for each different type of monster standie.
