No. A card has to say explicitly that it forces someone to Run Away for it to have that effect.

please help - player A is facing a monster which he can defeat - player B tosses a Wondering Monster card with another monster - Player B states he will help Player A defeat the monster's - total of 7 treasure cards are up for grabs - Player C tosses in the 'Instant Wall' card so no one wins and all have to run away ... is this legal? it cost me the game! thanks for any input ...

It was not a valid play using the card mentioned. As stated earlier in the thread, including the post just before yours, Instant Wall does not force the Munchkins to Run Away. It only allows them a safe escape if the combat owner decides he wants to Run Away. Player C would need a different card, such as Potion of Cowardice from Munchkin 2, to force Player A to lose the combat and Run Away in the manner described.

Can Player A play "Instant Wall" on combat he is not participating in, to let another player run away authomatically?

If yes, can Player B, in which combat had been played "Instant wall" choose to run away with dice, not authomatically? (if he wants to die, for example)

I don't see anything that says you have to be in the combat to play the card, so sure.

Nope. If Instant Wall is played when you're trying to Run Away, you get away. You'd have to use a second card or ability to require you to roll.
