CoC - The Resurrected?
Recently listened to "The Case of Charles Dexter Ward" again.
Is there any published CoC material that deals with Curwen/Ward and his legacy? Or the resurrected in general? After all, unless … Merlin? … unmade them, whatever it was Curwen had in his oubliettes would seem to still be down there... |

Re: CoC - The Resurrected?
The only occasion on which I can recall ressurection from 'essential salts' playing a part in the story was a LAUNDRY FILES scenario where people raised HPL himself from the dead.
Sixty times over. In my game only one of the copies survived the attentions of the player characters' Response Team and he was recruited into the Laundry Archives after recieving twenty-first century treatment for his cancer. 'Howie' is regarded as being only moderately creepy for an Archives worker but does have to go on more than the usual number of Sensitivity and Diversity training courses.

Re: CoC - The Resurrected?
Thanks - another source has pointed me to The Lurker in the Crypt from the collection Fatal Experiments … a quick drive by at Drivethru and I found that it did indeed feature lots of resurrected of various kinds. Curwen and Ward were not involved, but it appears that our old friends the Bishop family have made it to town...
