Default Smart Play?: Wandering Monster and Magic Lamp/PolyMorph Potion

I was thinking about combos and plays in Munchkin,

Lets say you are level 9 and fighting a monster for the win of the game. Everyone throws everything in to stop you.
Would adding a monster to the combat then getting rid of the other monster be wise?

Is there a way to remove the monster with all of the buffs, then throwing in another monster that will have no buffs from the other players and beat it for the winning level?

Note that any +X to either side One-Shot Items will remain if you do something like this. Only the Monster Enhancers will disappear with the monster. If you take that into account, it's a valid tactic.

This goes beyond the scope of Munchkin 101 forum, so I moved it here. Clipper is correct. It is a valid move, but any one shot Items that affect the combat strength of the monster side will remain.

I agree, it's a smart play, if you're losing against one monster. In my experience, though, the other players are likely to wander in monsters on their own, so you wouldn't need to :)
