Will the sales of older Car Wars PDFs count towards the Kickstarter funding totals? I think some other KS campaigns (Ogre) did that.

Thanks!
No, we have no plans to offer those PDFs as a part of this campaign.

My 32bits for whatever its worth, since these are still a WIP, take a look at the road tiles found on Rallyman GT KS. Using their idea they have been able to configure over 150 real world racing tracks. You don't need the same number of tiles they have and you could sell tile packs in the future. Just thought how they did it was innovative and allowed for a lot of customization as well as they have a website where you can create their track layouts. The tiles are also numbered so you can simply read the tiles and place them as they have shown on the screen. While that game is a racing sim, IMHO the idea is sound and would easily allow for the community to share tracks in the same way.

Anyway, a thought

Phil mentioned a second playmat in the third pledge level. Will this second playmat be available as one of the add-ons? Will additional cars be add-ons?

We're still reviewing project costs. We'll know a lot more next week about exactly which items will be available as add-ons the first day.

It's a balancing act: The more titles we offer on Day One, the higher the initial goal has to be so that we cover the costs. Reducing the number of Day One titles helps bring the primary goal down, but limits our options when finalizing the reward levels.

As shown, each tile is restricted to one orientation, in order to lock into the others.

If it's not too late, there could be a tongue and a socket on each face rather than just one or the other, as:

Code:
+-^--v-+

> >

< <

+-^--v-+
to free up all orientations.
