Tether for David
I need suggestions for a tether for David. I'm running my game set in Western Kentucky.
Any suggestions? |

Re: Tether for David
It's more of a central Kentucky location, but Manmoth Cave National Park comes immediately to mind.

Another possibility is the Red River Meetinghouse, where the Second Great Awakening began -- a call for people to join together in Heaven's cause, if ever there was one.

I may just use a generic cave around here. We have them. I also thought about having be at a local gun store. We have a large one here called Paducah Shooter's Supply. It's frequented by militia minded folks. |

Re: Tether for David
A gun store being a Tether for David might be looked at a bit oddly -- not that any Superior will turn down a Tether, of course. ;^)
If the local militia is Stone-leaning, perhaps their own meeting place might be one. I kind of like the Red River Meetinghouse idea. |

Re: Tether for David
I decided to go with an elemental tether for David. There is an area near Smithland Kentucky, not far from Paducah called Mantle Rock. That will be his tether in this region.

Sounds like a good call. It'd still be neat to have the Meethinghouse belong to somebody -- maybe Laurence, as a notable recruiting center for the Army of God?

Re: Tether for David
I'd use it. But it's a bit too far away from my central setting. It does look really good for Laurence.

Re: Tether for David
Didn't Kentucky start the Civil War neutral? That fits well with Stone's 'don't hit first' dissonance conditions, and a civil war is contrary to Stone's Unity, so something linked to that era - or predating it, that was damaged during the war but survived (ie multiple attacks by Hell rebuffed) would be my thought.
