Star Munchkin Bug ability

I have no idea how to use this ability.
"Whenever a Race or Class card is discarded, you may
discard any two cards and grab the discard."??

Am I discarding 2 cards to pick up the class or race card that was discarded? Why would I want to pick up a discarded race card if I am already a Bug? I just find this ability useless when all other race cards seem to have a use.

If the bug race is "useless", then you've already described why you would want to pick up another race card when you are the bug race.

You can also grab a discarded Class. And if you're a Half-Bug, you can grab a second Race. You can also grab a Class or Race to prevent someone else from getting it.

I agree that it's not the most useful ability out there, but it's not useless, either.

I think just a house rule I'll have to make up is you can also grab half breeds and super munchkins.
