Some pictures for our GURPS Kingdom Hearts game.

It didn't start out as Kingdom Hearts, but my brain goes strange places when thinking about games.

Lady Raquel, the Keyblade Wielder that the party has been tasked with finding (also, the missing best friend of one of the characters).

Proof I shouldn't have access to the tools I do. It's the Gummi ship. The party hasn't gotten this far yet. So . . . spoilers.

Here is Lady Raquel and her Gummi ship, The Penitent Protector.

The party's Gummi Ship with Lady Raquel for scale. Lady Raquel is 5'0" (152.5 cm) in her stocking feet.

For our Kingdom Hearts game, since I couldn't get a full batch of heartless figures like I was hoping for (and rigging the game models to be in anything other than a T-Pose is more work than it's worth for me . . .) I've press-ganged Hand of Bobb into making models in Hero Forge (he's wa-aa-aa-aa-aa-aa-aa-aa-aa-aa-ay better at it than I am).

We've already picked up this shadow model for use in TableTop Simulator. And it looks amazing in the engine.

So, he's made the following figures for the first world they'll visit after Traverse Town:
Figure 1
Figure 2
Figrue 3

I'll be getting the unity assets when they get closer to that trip.

As Hand of Bobb said: "When I started gaming, the idea of custom-made minis for gaming was science fiction. Then again, I'm pushing fifty, so the amount of things that were science fiction when I was young, but are now real, is staggering."

I picked up the figures above, for Tabletop Simulator for our game.

And they look amazing.

I've also got the original shadow (down in front), the Gigashadow (which is a beefier version of the shadow dynamically scaled up) and the Invisible (Bobb made it and really wanted to see it in the virtual space--I can always use it later. Mwa ha, ha ha ha.)

We use The Gentleman Dungeon Master's Table, but have deleted the D&D/Pathfinder stuff.

I highly recommend this D&D 5E set of figures for a majority of needs.

Also, if you have a subscription to Hero Forge, you can use their booth to take pictures of your figures (front and back) and use them as standies.

A Cyberpunk-esque character while working with body presets. And discussing the relevance of emissive/glowing surfaces.

The basics are: it makes the picture look really cool, but is only there for the picture. No one, in their right mind, would go into combat with their eyes glowing.

"SHOOT HERE!"

Well, in flash photography you can get the red-eye effect, but that doesn't combine with a shadowed face.

Right, her irises are glowing. I actively went in and made them light-emitting surfaces.
