Well done! For the PC-able races, have you considered posting the Templates?

Nice dragon!

About posting the templates, I'm not quite sure where to put them. The native system for this setting is my home-brew Rough Methods game engine. I plan to eventually include my GURPS conversions (and maybe Savage Worlds?) in my descriptions, the former could go in the GURPS forum. They don't really seem appropriate for this thread, though.

Here's another PC-able species

Thanks!

Nice! You know, that texture, and those techniques would make for a really nice Drallasite, were you so inclined. :)

Heh. My setting originally started as an attempt to convert the Star Frontiers setting. Then I wanted to fix the parts that kept bugging me. Then I decided as long as I was changing things, I might as well make it my own - re-write it to keep some of the same feel and the stuff I liked, but different enough to be its own thing (and harder sciency-er). The Gummis (the blob-like being in the my previous post) descended conceptually from the Dralasites, Mants (the insect-like critter from a few posts back) were the result of Vrusk contaminated with a young praying mantis I caught and sketched one time in Bakersfield, and then you can probably guess one of the inspirations for these guys

By now it has diverged considerably from its roots (and has a lot of inspiration from other franchises, and my own ideas). But I still look back to Star Frontiers every so often.

Rough comparison chart for the PC races of my setting. I wanted to draw proper illustrations of them all but kept giving up in frustration so I decided to try with the shape tools and drawing on key features only when needed.

Only one race is actually missing: hobgoblins. However, they'd just be another copy/paste of the human frame, at the very most with longer legs and arms but a shorter torso. There are also a couple of dragon-based sub-races that could stand to be included.

"Half-Kemono" is actually more of a category of races, with them collectively being more common than Mostly Human but individual species templates less common than individual standard races. So you find more furries overall in the world, but find more ogres than minotaurs or gnolls/gnawls, for instance.

And of course, the prices and trait overlaps are intended for minimum redundancy so that players can generally just pick two half-race templates and play them both.

Keep working on it! The only way to get better is practice.

Here's a similar chart for my setting
