OGRE HWT & CE
Need some input on how to differentiate between Regular Infantry, Heavy Weapons Teams & Combat Engineers. The SJG miniature sets only come with Regular Infantry. I'm thinking about just painting the bases a different color to indicate what type of unit the infantry stand is representing.

Re: OGRE HWT & CE
I used a single figure from the Mechwarrior line, mounted on a base, to represent a HWT for my minis. The figure has a shoulder mounted missile launcher of some sort. Pics here:
https://www.boardgamegeek.com/thread...85143#27885143 I haven't figured out the CE yet. Perhaps the single SJG INF figure with a crate on the base or something to represent co-located engineering "stuff" is my current line of thought. Added edit: I forgot we did use CE in one game we played (one of those "capture the tech" scenarios IIRC). We used a third color of single INF figure. Thus we knew the green fellow was a CE, as opposed to the blue or red ones who were straight INF Last edited by Mack_JB; 09-24-2020 at 04:47 PM. |

Re: OGRE HWT & CE
Have diff paint jobs and color schemes. Be sneaky about it. We use secret deployment so the enemy doesn't know what they are until you use them in a manner that shows their capabilities. Brigade minis has some excellent infantry lines that are cheap and work well with OGRE minis as they are 6mm as well. They are all metal as well not that flims plastic or cardboard junk.
