The Magenta Moat can be Annihilated. If there is a card on the Moat when it is Annihilated, that card is not Annihilated.

Well that's disappointing. It seemed like the whole reason for the Magenta Moat's existence was to be iron-clad protection (as long as its requirements were met) for a single card.

Guess it's more like aluminum clad. ;-)

I am more than happy with the ruling. It seems between Annihilation and Trained Moths, *one* of the two cards *has* to work against the Magenta Moat...

...and I'm glad it's Annihilation. Because otherwise, I'd have a real hard time explaining to people that the Magenta Moat isn't a card. :D

Thanks yet again, Andrew. :D

It is. However, the point here is that with the right card, you can attack the protection. Even iron rusts. . .
