Contingency Geases.

I read the expanded rules for Geases in the Lilith superior book, and find one little problem with it.
geases only last a specific time after being activated


but I for one, think That "If I Die, you will spend at least 3 essence a week keeping me informed of the latest events, so i can get out of limbo quicker" should be perfectly valid.



and lilith herslef clearly has placed geases that last FOREVER on demons who ask her help becoming renegades, to NEVER under ANY CIRCUMSTANCES WHATSOEVER reveal to asmoesdoes her role in the matter.

As far as Lilith, I can see two possibilities:

1) She's a Superior and possesses a level of power beyond what mere PCs can do.

Or

2) Each "forever" geas is actually a year long one that culminates with "And at the end of a year's time, you shall renew this pledge."

(There's also possibility 3, that she can call in a lot of Geases at once to get the duration she needs, or possibility 4, that the whole thing is an urban legend.)
