It's on the worldofmunchkin site. How could it NOT be reliable?

Can't wait to find out what's "unique" about the D6.

There have been some very real-looking pages on the worldofmunchkin website as April Fools' jokes. People have run into them long after the fact and didn't realize they were gags. (RevBob recently fixed it so that it's obvious they're fake.)

But it's not April 1st, so I think we're safe.

Oooooo. :)

Not expecting that but what a wonderful core set idea! I'm very excited!

Every Munchkin flavor's core set gets a unique d6, ever since the 1.5 reprints started in 2010. Personally, I'm inclined to use my Nuclear War die - the one that glows in the dark and has a colorful mushroom cloud as the "1."

Even those have always had some sort of "tell" built in - an obviously fake UPC code, for instance.

That, too.

Not my top choice for a new set, but it certainly ranks fairly high up there. I imagine this will synergize quite well with Munchkin Zombies in terms of theme. Munchkin Zombie Apocalypse?

I think this will be better than Zombies, I didn't really know what the next core set might be but, I really like the sound of this.

An apocalyptic-themed Munchkin is a fun idea.

I am looking forward to the artwork, especially the Seven Seals. I hope there will be more than one species of pinniped. Will the Seven Seals be dressed as Navy SEALs?

How could Munchkin Apocalypse be combined with Munchkin Zombies? The players in Munchkin Zombies would be monsters in Munchkin Apocalypse.

Good luck with the development of the new Core Set.

The same way any two core sets of Munchkin can be combined. Just shuffle the two sets together and play.

I think seeing JK's versions of the Horsemen would be fun.
