Re: Treasure Generator
1 Amphora with quilted
$4300.0 40.00 lbs Enchantments Create Ice[Skill:15] While the idea of an amphora that creates its own ice cubes is cool (har), it shouldn't be rolling on the soft embellishments.

Re: Treasure Generator
That actually sounds great. It would be like having an insulation layer/koozie so that the ice doesn't melt as quickly and so that my little fingers do not get chilled.

Re: Treasure Generator
Just a note that I pushed a fix to the service, for better or worse ;)
I am considering implementing Glittering Prizes content into this service. Would that be of interest to others? -b |

Re: Treasure Generator
I certainly would be interested in that. Glittering Prizes contains a lot of content that seems well-suited to the current functionality. Epic Treasures, not so much.

Re: Treasure Generator
Hard containers are all rolling on the soft embellishments, bottles etc.
Also 1 Carpet with cheap fringe lined with and inked block print $6575.0 10.00 lbs Enchantments Gloom[Skill:15] Supernatural Effects Scent: Flowers "Lined with and" - a variable lookup is missing in there. Also I think there should be a "with" between "inked" and "block print".

As for the item description...its not actually a missing variable so much as the grammar getting scrambled. I am trying to clean it up as I go, there clearly is an issue when the object has more than one embellishment/decoration. I will think on a more general fix if I can. -b |

Re: Treasure Generator
I need to stop by again and say how awesome this service is. Thank you thank you thank you.
I'm part of a group attempting to get a GURPS dungeon generator working (right now it's just a dungeon generator, no particular system). May we use the service to generate treasure? As the dungeon generator will be designed to be usable offline, it will fail back to just telling the GM to roll on DF8 themselves, but if it can access the service I'd like it to "just work" and produce treasure :) For the curious, we're building upon the donjon Creative Commons licensed generator, which just produces a map. Therefore the app is an HTML page with CSS and JavaScript, which should make it mostly portable. The tables of monsters, dungeon description thingies, weird springs, etc will be JSON files and user editable. We're also sticking with a format that you could set up in CSV and use one of the online CSV-JSON converters, because I know a lot of people like that better.

EDIT: Herpaderp, you already did it. For folks interested in how to enter the parameters, here's an example using min and max treasure value: http://df-treasure-generator.herokua...=4000&min=3000
