Default Lecherousness & Bisexuality

Should a Bi character with Lecherousness get more points for the disadvantage? It dose seem it would be a bigger disadvantage for them.

Not from my perspective. You hit on the most attractive person around that suits your taste. It's still hitting on one character.

Lecherousness and Xenophilla and, as someone on these forums said, you've got Jack Harkness.

That's not an accurate of what should be happening with the disadvantage at all though.

Not really, no. It's the same disadvantage. While they've doubled their chances of rejection, they've also doubled their chances of acceptance. It all evens out in the wash.

Kleptomania doesn't go up in points in a TL7+ game due to the increased availability of goods compared to TL3. Compulsive Liar doesn't go up in points due to the size of the party.

If you were to rebuild Lecherousness based more on the Sense of Duty disadvantage, an argument could be made for it. But, as it stands, bi characters don't get, or need, any modifier to Lecherousness.

Standards adjust to one's surroundings. So I don't think the disadvantage must increase or decrease in value because of one's optimal preferences assuming large enough groups.

That's actually absolutely the idea for the character that's got me asking this question.

And that character is getting points back for both Lecherousness and for Xenophilia.

Depending on the culture, bisexuality might be a quirk.

I'm in agreement. Pretty much, unless it's illegal in the game world or the norm, it's not really much more than a quirk.
