Default What happened to the puzzle in Pyramid #3-1?

Back in November 2008, the first isse of the new Pyramid had a puzzle in the quotes at the bottom of each page. Some sort of prize was promised for the first 100 people to submit a solution. Did anything ever come of it? I submitted a solution but I never heard back.

I'd been planning to ask about that myself, but kept forgetting to post the question.

The second issue mentioned that the results for #1 would be announced in #4 (they weren't), and had an even more cryptic puzzle (I entered the first, but never even found the second). AFAIK, no results for either have appeared anywhere.

Thanks for reminding me!

I'll try to post the results (plus answers) within a couple of months. To be honest, the first couple of issues were a learning curve, as I had no idea it'd be as tough as it was simply getting the mag out on time! ("How hard could it be to get a magazine as big as a regular e23 release together in about 1/10th the time?" Sheesh!)

...Poke?

(Finally got around to reading this issue in depth -- had just skimmed it when I first received it -- and noticed this contest. Wondered if Steven had gotten around to announcing resolution to this contest, so I used Google, and subsequently found this long-lost thread...)

Hah! Good question. I'll see if I can't "resolve" that thread with the next magic-themed issue.
