Help with “Masks” Pulp Heroes write ups and world
Someone thinking about running a game based on the pulp comic; Masks. It has the classic hero’s of zorro, mandrake the magician, green hornet, Kato, the spider, the phantom, the spirit, doc Savage, the shadow, and more.
Looking for a modern world feel with pulp action, intrigue, and mystery. Any advice or guidance on this? Some Real Super powers exist but are limited and not “omega level”at all. I’m trying to get a beginning feel for the nps and PCs I’ll need to write up. Would anyone happen to have any write ups of these characters, or would like to take a stab at them? I'd start with 250 point Action characters, though likely using Action 3: Furious Fists and Action 4: Specialists rather than the templates in Action 1: Heroes. Action 2: Exploits is a necessity while in-play, I'd say.
As for powers, these can either be part of the 250 or you can specify up to another 150 points for powers and special skills. I'd also highly encourage wildcards, Fist!, Move!, and Detective! are almost a given for the genre.
