If you are cursed with Covered in T.P. it says you automatically fail your next run away attempt. Lets say you kick down the door and get cursed, you then go looking for trouble against a barking dog (need for steed expansion), even though you can beat him are you able to choose to run and fail on purpose. the reasion for doing this would be to just lose your footgear instead of whatever the next monsters "bad stuff" might be.

You cannot Run Away from a monster you are currently beating. If you want to Run Away, you'll have to do something to make the monster tougher than you are.
