Default Item Cards clarification

This is all kinda related so i'll keep this all in one post.

can you sell Items in your hand to gain a level? Or do they have to be on the table to also be sold, same as trading?

I thought I read this some where but now for the life of me I can't find it.

It says One shot items can be used from your hand

...so the only reason to put them on the table would be to save room in your hand or trade them to someone else?

At first thought I believe the rules state you can only sell from items in play, not your hand. I recall having to make sure to watch what two cards I put in my "pack" to make sure I didn't mess that up.

Sorry for bringing this thread up, but I figured you want this board neat and have questions kept together.

As I read what this forum thread states, we can now sell cards from our hand, redacting a line from page 5 of the Munchkin Quest rulebook.

Quote:
Cards in your hand may not be sold, traded, or given away.
I'm only asking for clarification for my player card placemat I'm working on.

Thank you.

O'Keefe was one of the developers of Munchkin Quest. If he says it's an erratum, it's an erratum.
