Alternative names for Magery?
I'm building an Egyptian-themed Urban Fantasy RPM game and am trying to figure out what to call Magery instead of Magery. The theme of the game is heavy on language, too, following the principle of Hu (Utterance).
I've already replaced Thaumatology with Heka, which I felt was the most appropriate usage, but am undecided for Magery. Gnosis or Initiation springs to mind. Come to think of it, Hu wouldn't be terrible, and a friend suggests Attunement. If someone has suggestions, let me know please!

In my Five Earths setting, the psi power that is effectively reskinned Magery is called Thoughtform Talent.

I think I would go with Attunement, and not limit spell-casting to those with it. It seems like anyone capable of repeating the appropriate words and actions can use a spell. Alternately, it might be the ability that allows spell-casting on the fly, while those without are limited to ritualistic spells carefully laid out on scrolls.
