Pocket Swapping Charm Bracelet?

My friend has a charm bracelet and I was trying to use pocket swap to snatch it, but he is saying it is 'equipped' even though there is no indication of it being equiped other than him flipping it upward.. which dont make sense as he gets no benefit or effect from it. Could we get some clarification on this?

If memory serves correctly the "pocket swap" only allows you to trade an item you are carrying but don't have equipped with an item that another player is carrying but doesn't have equipped.

While the charm bracelet doesn't give its effect until necessary, if it is equipped then it does not fall under the "carried" clause of pocket swap.

If he was only carrying it at the time you declared you were using pocket swap to take it and give him an item of yours then I would say you get to take it because upon your declaration of using pocket swap it met the necessary conditions for you to take it.

Mathgeni is correct on the usage of the card. However, I need to make something very clear because of the mistaken implication that items are equipped or carried. All Items in play are carried. Some are in use, or equipped (they mean the same thing), while others are not (indicated by turning the card sideways).

So, unless Charm Bracelet was turned sideways, it was equipped (or being used), even if its effect was not being used at the time, and could not be taken by Pocket Swap.
