The Boxes of Holding are smaller than the Generic White Boxes. They're specifically designed to hold Munchkin cards.

No, the Munchkin stuff is part of the big Rolling Tote of Doom. I just have one 400-count box set aside specifically for Munchkin accessories: 7 KOMs, 6 Scrolls of Reversal, a few Elf cards, one set each of male and female pawns, my WMDs and Dice of Doom, and some dice. The fit is a bit snug, but it works.

Just wait'll I finish blending my Star, Fu, and Booty sets into three two-theme combo decks: Anime, Ice Pirates, and Pirate v. Ninja.

My perception is this: the cards are a tight fit, sideways, with no sleeves. The cards only fit horizontally. I suppose if you sleeve them with sleeves that are literally the same size. The sides of the lid tuck in on each side of the cards.

And, I do not use sleeves. We don't play them anywhere near enough to worry and we are all anal about clean hands and no food or drink.

I've been using the white sport card boxes for years. All cards fit in them, sleeved or not. BUT as Munchkin is not a CCG (for which I thank the gods), I can really use the Boxes of Holding.

Putting on sleeves for over 3,000 cards will not work for me. It's cheaper to have folks wash their hands and keep food and drink off the tables.

Plus side to using the Boxes of Holding means that I only have to carry one or two at a time for the sets that I want to use, rather than the 3 big card boxes that I use now.

There's still the promo cards that come with. I bought two sets. I keep one of each of my split decks in them. The white boxes I was using (double sided) is now just for all my "stuff", promos, bobble head, all the dice I use, the four kill o meters I have...etc. It works out kind of nice actually. I'm very happy with the boxes of holding. Quite nice.

:( How did you get a hold of the Boxes of Holding already? I thought they weren't coming out until next month.

Gen Con. They had a limited supply. I bought that, Cthulhu 4 and Marked For Death.
