Latest rulebook and Rangers question

Is there any way to purchase just the latest rulebook without having to purchase the whole game. I have and older rulebook but would like to get an updated version since I haven't played in ages. I will be using vassal as my gameboard so I don't want to spend $50 on boards and pieces that I wont use.

Also, the ranger infantry unit is new to me. Is there any place where I can find info/rules for it?

Any unofficial ideas floating around? I did a quick search and found a thread showing some counters but no rule ideas.

2x normal INF price (like Marines), attacks against them suffer a -1 to the die roll. That means you find the combat odds as normal, roll the D6, and subtract one from the result, using that to check the CRT.

That's pretty much all we have on them, from an advertisement back in 2013 for a product that seems cancelled.

What more rules would they need than the ones on the bookmark?
