question on dice
We've recently become addicted to Munchkin (and StarMunchkin.) Somewhere, I think on one of the cards that require you to roll a die it says that you can use one from the table or your pocket. Being the sneaky kind of person that I am I assumed that meant any time I needed to roll and immediatly made a trip to game store for a collection of situational specific dice. For example I have a six sided die with all ones. Also a six sided die with 7-12 on the faces for trying to run away.
It seems that the people I play with disagree slightly with this interpetation although it appears to be ok to roll the 10 sided die we use to track current level. What are the rules regarding this area of play? Towd |

Re: question on dice
This would be the card called Duck of Earl.
This is the one card where you can bring a die out of your pocket, and it can be a custom/cheat die. For this one card alone, your d6 with all 1s on it is legal. Where did you get this d6 with all 1s on it? I'm wanting to get one, but can't find them at a decent price. Thanks!

Re: question on dice
I assume you're referring to the Duck of Earl. For that one specific card, you can roll any die at the table or in your pocket. The Duck of Earl is the exception to the rule.
For other situations, if the card doesn't say you can roll any die in your pocket or at the table, then you follow the rules and roll a d6. |

Yep! I felt bad on that other recent post where you beat me with posting the correct answer, and wanted to slip past you on one. LOL

I Googled for Game Nights, and it found a store in Salt Lake City, UT. Is this the one where you found that custom die? If so, I might be making an order from them! :)

Re: question on dice
Yes the store in SLC is the one I got it from. It was the only one they had at the time.
Next, above it's mentioned that you must roll a d6. Not to be picking nits but by that do you mean the traditional six-sided die with 1-6 on it or any six-sided die, like the one with 7-12 on it? Towd |
