Re: [GURPS DF] Welcome to Hell IC
Michelle is wearing armor, isn't she? Subtract that.

Dorli eases along the planks towards where he heard the crashing sound.

He takes six crushing damage, minus his armor. Everyone else hears the loud crash. OOC: You got a low roll. |

Re: [GURPS DF] Welcome to Hell IC
Dorli's armor blocks all of the damage, but he takes 1 point of blunt trauma, which is blocked by his innate thick skin DR.
[ooc] I call it the steel parachute :D. He quickly gets to his feet and untangles his gear. He unties the straps that hold his axes in their slings, readying them for combat, then with his holy symbol in his shield hand and a throwing axe in his right hand he starts turning this way and that, looking for threats and trying to determine how large the room he has found himself in is.

Re: [GURPS DF] Welcome to Hell IC
I call it me being pretty generous with regard to his ankles. :)

It's a wedge-shaped room, just like the one he was in before, but this one has a dirt floor. There are multiple pipes leading into the room. The come in through the walls. Someone has done a patch job to seal up all the holes. There's another pipe on the floor, too small for you to fit through. Small footprints lead in and out of the pipe to the jars. You can see that the pipe has a wire mesh bent over it and there's a dead rat stuck in it. Looks like it tried to crawl out and got its head stuck. Other than that small pipe, and the hole in the roof, he sees no way out. |

Re: [GURPS DF] Welcome to Hell IC
[ooc] How small footprints? Something that could fit through the mesh?
Dorli takes a look at one of the jars. If there's nothing obvious to be seen from examining the outside of them, he casts Sense Life on the jar using his holy symbol, limiting the search to "life larger than a small insect that is capable of movement" (in other words, he doesn't care about random bacteria or non-dire cockroaches). [ooc] 15/16 FP. How many jars are there?

Re: [GURPS DF] Welcome to Hell IC
Ignoring the spider for now, Dorli tries to see what is in the jar, using his axe to break it if there is no obvious way to open it.
[ooc] How high is the first floor above him?

After a few minutes and if nothing comes by Michelle starts to explore her new surroundings.
Edit: perception failure by two and crit fail stealth. Link to rolls. Last edited by Poonbahbah; 07-04-2012 at 01:04 PM. |
