A man about to be executed is asked whether he has any final words. Before he can get them out, a rooftop sniper shoots him.

A group of travellers arrive at a village and notice a peculiarity. They can see many of the villagers, but not a single one of them is a man.

A meteorite slams into the ground creating a 60 foot impact crater. In the center of it, amidst the shards of the hollow rock is the curled up body of a young woman.

Miners run into solid metal and begin to clear away the surrounding stone to reveal that it appears to be a giant human-like face.

In a quiet neighbourhood, the birds, squirrels and stray pets are all gone.
