Default Who wrote Shikaku-Mon (Alternate Earths 1)?

Despite being a fan of all things alternate-historical and a long-time, semi-active member of alternatehistory.com, I have yet to find a setting I like as much as Shikaku-Mon, from the first GURPS Alternate Earths. I simply must ask, since I am too stupid to figure it out myself: Who wrote it?

I swear, if it turns out to be Kenneth Hite who again makes me feel this way, I will force him to make me have his babies. That is not a threat, it's a factual fact.

I dont know the answer to your question but let me say this

Shikako-mon sometimes scares the bejewels out of me, im constantly amazed at how some world developments make our world more and more similar to it.

lets see if the brics internet creates a a dataweave like scenario!

I think (although I'm not certain) that the major contributor to that timeline's section was Craig Neumeier.

Ah! Of course!

...

I have no clue who that is.

Is he some lone genius living on a remote mountain top in the Himalayas, handing down the visions he receive from the Mist Between Worlds once every few decades to one of his nine acolytes, asking only for the souls of their firstborn sons?

Look, I really like Shikaku-Mon.

To my knowledge he's a friend of Ken Hite. I'm not sure if that changes the rest of your speculation.

He's one of Ken Hite's college friends. That group at the University of Chicago got really into alternate histories, which is how the Alternate Earths series got started. Here's an author description:

Thanks a lot, guys! Evidently, the University of Chicago has nurtured some fine minds.
