When can I play cards without timing?

I looked here http://forums.sjgames.com/showpost.php?p=124650 and could not find type of non Item cards without timing (such as Sudden Head Blow). Rules says only about other Treasures, but Sudden Head Blow is a Door. It's not an Item so you can play it only from hand. ok. But when?
Can I play it during other players turn?
Can I play it during combat?
Can I play it during other player combat?

so, if there is no timing on Door card (not an Item) does this mean I can play it at any time?

Yes, if it doesn't fit one of the special types of cards outlined in the rules (Races, Classes, Items, etc.) and it doesn't tell you when it can be played on the card, then you should assume it says "Play this card at any time, even during combat."
