Chez Geek - "next income raised by..." cards
This question came up during a game of Chez Geek at a convention.
A player contended that, if you have a "your next income is raised by X" card and play it on your turn, it applies to your next turns income, not the current turn's. That would seem to be a valid interpretation of the card. Does this mean I have to play the card during the end of the previous player's turn, before I start my turn (and determine variable income if necessary), and then hope I draw something that makes the income boost worthwhile on my turn? |

Re: Chez Geek - "next income raised by..." cards
That player was incorrect. The "Shopping" example on page two of the "House Party Edition" rulesheet depicts a player using a "your next income is raised by 1" card to affect their income for their current turn. Since it's literally in the rules, I have no problem calling that definitive.
