That being said if you REALLY need another ship, you can always use cheat. Some class or accent might help too but it's been awhile for me since I've played booty.
Also being able to pull a card back into your hand lets you take back cheat, if the item its on becomes legal to use on its own. So many options become available with movable cheats.
