Not if your girlfriend has Bad Temper though, then you would be accustomed to, maybe even to the point of buying an style perk.

I generally consider Mook one step up from Cannon Fodder. Mooks actually (try to) defend themselves, but any decent hit will take them out.

One step down would be Speedbump. Roll any weapon skill (or possibly non-combat skills if you can justify it) and you take MoS of them out of the fight.

Mook is just a common slang term for enemies intended to be defeated easily while Cannon Fodder is an optional rule that makes enemies defeated easily. Cannon Fodder enemies are always mooks, but not all mooks are Cannon Fodder; some (in my experience, most) are closer to what DF calls "worthy" foes, fighting to 0 HP and taking advantage of skills/defenses in combat.
