Are the older Dungeon Fantasy books going to be rewritten?
Hi all!
Does anyone know if the older Dungeon Fantasy books are going to be rewritten into the newer version of the game? I know that some cross over, some require GURPS basic, and some are redundant because the info has already been pulled into the new set, so it would be good to know if we need to do conversions on the books ourselves or if the plan is to expand the game and steadily pull everything over into the new format/edition. Thanks! |

So far as I can tell, the current plan is to see how the DFRPG material thus published sells before making a decision on what else, if anything, to publish. Other DF books provide a fertile source of material, certainly, but there's simply no specific path for future DFRPG books yet announced.

What's more productive is buying copies of the DFRPG for people to actually play. Individual players tend to accumulate other players, spreading the system and the size of the market SJG could sell to. That's a sustainable source of income based on and tied to the DFRPG, rather than a random one-off windfall.
