Cheat card and Cane Weapons in Steampunk
We've been playing Steampunk Munchkin for a while but recently had a new question pop up that I've not been able to find an answer to.
If a player has a cheat card on a cane weapon, say the cane gatling gun so that they can use it without being a mechanic, and they then add another cane item, how does the cheat card apply to the combined weapon? It mentions it applies to the item, and the cards say they form one weapon not one item. Is it right to assume that this means it now only counters the mechanic requirement, and not the hand requirement of the combined weapon? |

Re: Cheat card and Cane Weapons in Steampunk
The Cheat! card applies to a single Item, not to a combined weapon. The combined Cane- weapon will still take one Hand because of the rules on the non-Cheated cards.

Re: Cheat card and Cane Weapons in Steampunk
Okay, thanks for the explanation; I didn't know whether the cane weapon counted as an item and a weapon separately, or as one single item, I'll know now.
